The online frenzy that emerged after the worldwide spread of Covid 19 has affected all of humanity. Especially the fashion of online education and shopping has increased the number of companies investing in this field. Therefore, the advertisements of these companies have settled in the subconscious of all people. Virtual robots were created to shop online. These robots suggest the most suitable products for them, considering the body sizes of the customers. This system, which has been developed over the years, has led shopping stores to the online sector, thus leaving most boutiques in the malls empty.
The online craze has increased so much that even marriage is performed virtually. This event made the distances between two people who love each other insignificant. However, his emotional relationships were also severely damaged. People are living in a virtual world rather than in real life. They always produce their jobs, marriages, friendships, and social relations in a virtual way. In other words, their smartphones and computers have become their separate organs. Aside from all this madness, a mass emerged who wanted to protest this situation and persistently continue their life before Covid years ago. This mass established some associations protesting virtual life and carried out some activities in this direction. However, this mass, which consists of the elderly in general, has not yet been successful against the new generation growing up in a highly virtual environment. This new generation, who even completes most of their education online, does not seem to break away from virtuality. Even the concerts, one of the activities that the young people enjoy the most, are held online. Dancing and having fun has almost become a dream. I expect that if this process continues like this, people will miss the old and turn to the old after a while. Or rather, I hope so. I will not let the virtual world take over my life. I don’t understand how people can only watch the concert from where they sit instead of dancing and playing. So much so that people have come to need fresh air by sticking their heads out of the window of their homes. When people walking on the street look up from their phones and look at the road, they are perceived as doing something very different. Since the autopilot feature came to cars, even drivers have been constantly checking their phones while on the road. And this has become a very dangerous process. I summarize this process as “living online, life offline”.
