The money does not exist
I remember that not so long ago people used coins and banknotes to pay. Although at that time the use of virtual payment was becoming more and more normalised, in bars and restaurants we saw more and more objects such as the dataphone that did not require physical money. Even so, I would never have imagined that physical money would disappear.
It all started when the pandemic ended and people, thanks to the confinement, got used to paying virtually and not using coins or banknotes. You saw less and less people using coins, there were even some shops where they gave you the option of not paying with physical money, in particular there was one in Barcelona whose owner had a very special rule, that rule was not to use physical money, basically he only let you pay with a card. But 1 year later he was forced to close the shop because it was proven that the whole thing was a scam and that he was overcharging people. However, the shops did not stop charging their customers virtually, but everything changed radically when a well-known man invented a device that just by looking at it you could collect the bill. The innovative device had a facial recognition system, and with that recognition it was able to access your account and take the money it was entitled to. At first, customers preferred to continue using physical money because of the obvious distrust they had, but after three years, scientists conducted a study on the number of times the device was used and the number of times they took too much money. When they finished and the data came to light, people started to use it, and that is because the results showed that 0% of the time the invention took money that did not correspond to it. When 5 more years passed the physical money disappeared.
Many people like me missed it, but we have to admit that it is more convenient not to have to take out your wallet and that just by looking at the device it charges you. Banknotes and coins have now become a highly prized item for collectors and are valued at a good deal of money.
